Deanna Henry, CMA (AAMA), CCRC – Office Manager
I am the office manager for NW Dermatology and Research Center, LLC and have worked for this practice for 26 years. During this time I’ve had the opportunity to work in just about every aspect of the practice. In addition, I have been a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator since 1996 and have worked on numerous clinical trials in our office. It has been a privilege to be part of a successful team that brought innovative and exciting drugs to the field of dermatology.
Although I am still involved in clinical research, my primary position has evolved to Office Manager. Our practice has grown significantly over the years and I find myself enjoying the practice management aspect of my position. If there is anything I can do to make your experience in our office more pleasant, please do not hesitate to call me or stop by my desk. It would be my pleasure to help you!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and two dogs. My favorite hobby is photography.
Heather Cook, CMA (AAMA), CCRC – Research Coordinator
I have been with NW Dermatology & Research Center, LLC since June of 2011. I started my career as a medical assistant in 2008 and since joining this office, I have grown to love dermatology and research. As a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator, the best part of my job is getting the opportunity to build relationships with so many great people. I enjoy getting to contribute to the use of new and exciting treatments for a variety of medical and cosmetic conditions.
In my personal life, I have two beautiful boys and appreciate the humor and energy they bring to my life. I enjoy various outdoor activities, dogs, cooking, music, and wine. My boys and I also enjoy volunteering out time with the Special Olympics.
Kathy Ilg – Medical Assistant
I have worked as a medical assistant at NW Dermatology and Research Center, LLC since 1996. I am so thankful for the amazing learning opportunities I’ve had, and for all of the extraordinary people I’ve gotten to work with. My favorite part of my job is my interactions with patients, and truly making a difference in peoples’ lives. Our clinic provides a unique and positive experience to our patients, and I love being a part of that!
Outside of the office I enjoy baking, gardening, travel, friends, and wine. I also have two beautiful grown daughters and three wonderful grandbabies who bring me total joy.
Andrea Hatch, NCMA – Medical Assistant
I am a Certified Medical Assistant that recently moved to the Portland area from San Jose, CA. I graduated from Carrington College California in 2014. I have previous experience working in dermatology and cosmetics and am more than excited to continue my passion here at NW Dermatology and Research Center, LCC. The parts I love most about my job are hands on experience, a constant opportunity to continue learning, and the interactions I get to have with our wonderful patients. I very much look forward to growing with our practice.
In my spare time I enjoy scenery, photography, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. I am so excited to see what Oregon has in store for me!
Stephenie Millsap, NCMA – Medical Assistant
I have had the pleasure of being a Certified Medical Assistant for 20 years. I started my career with NW Dermatology and Research Center, LLC in August of 2015 and enjoy the wonderful work environment here. The providers and staff are really exceptional people who are committed to making a difference. I love contributing in any way I can! Helping people is one of my favorite aspects of my job.
Outside of the office, during my free time, you can usually find me spending time with my wonderful one-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter. I love snowboarding, enjoy boating, and like to take part in almost all outdoor activities. The Pacific Northwest is a wonderful place to do that.
Tami Panther – Cosmetic Service Coordinator
I have been with NW Dermatology and Research Center, LLC since May 2010. Since then I have been helping patients interested in the cosmetic services we provide including fillers, Botox/Dysport, Kybella, skincare and all of our laser services. I love helping patients come up with a plan to reach their goals regarding facial aging and skincare.

I am always interested in hearing feedback from our patients as to what they would enjoy learning about or anything that we can do to make their experience better. Our patients are our top priority and I cannot express what a joy it is to work with such an incredible staff and providers who truly care!

Erin McAuliffe, LE, CLT – Certified Laser Technician
I am an Oregon State Licensed Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician specializing in advanced treatments of the skin. I received my certification from the Euro Institute of Skincare in Portland, Oregon where I was trained in medical and holistic methodologies. Prior to working at NW Dermatology and Research Center, LLC I lived in Whitefish, Montana where I worked with a plastic surgeon as the Lead Aesthetician.
I have always been a strong advocate for continuing education and I am a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. I strive to be a leader in the aesthetic industry by continually providing innovative, safe and effective skincare solutions.
I have a young son who I enjoy spending time with and love to watch learn and grow. I also love spending time exploring all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Lindsey Shelman, LE, CLT – Certified Laser Technician
I am an Oregon Certified Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician. I have over six years of experience in my field and also have a background as a medical assistant. I love working with people and strive to provide each patient with the most effective skincare solutions and laser services. I find my job very rewarding because it allows me to develop professional relationships with my patients. Seeing results with each treatment is my greatest reward!
Originally from Texas, I am enjoying all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. When I’m not at work I enjoy caring for my twin boys and spending time with family and friends.
Megan Matthews – Front Office Administrator
I joined the NW Dermatology and Research Center, LLC family in 2016 and am pleased to be a member of this awesome and dynamic team of medical professionals. My career interests lie in improving front office operations, fostering an environment of exceptional patient care and customer service, and contributing to business development.
Originally from a small town in Northeast Oregon, I’m excited to live in the vibrant city of Portland. Outside of the office I am passionate about educating college students about sexual assault prevention and awareness, hosting board game nights with friends, exploring Oregon (#exploregon), and enjoying time with my amazing family and supportive partner.
Angie Hawkins – Lead Front Office Coordinator
I have had the pleasure of working at NW Dermatology and Research Center, LLC since August of 2014. I have worn many hats since I first started working at this clinic, including File Manager, Scheduler, and now Lead Front Office. I love my position and sincerely enjoy helping patients on a daily basis.
My hobbies include spending time with my family and being outdoors as much as possible!
Hailey Murto – Front Office Project Coordinator
I had the pleasure of joining NW Dermatology and Research Center, LLC in 2016 as the Front Office Project Coordinator. I am thrilled to be joining this exceptional and passionate team of medical professionals. I love working in a collaborative, creative environment and am very excited to be assisting front office operations by helping to develop various projects that help coworkers and patients alike.
My interests in travel, politics, and public health have taken me to the Bolivian rainforest, the Peruvian Andes, and Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. In my free time, I like spending time at the ceramics studio, going out to brunch, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Natalie Sherman – Scheduling Specialist
I have always had an interest in dermatology and aesthetics. I completed medical assistant training at Concorde Career College.To accomplish my externship, I requested a transfer to the college’s Portland campus and–after my first visit–fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and this unique city. I finished my studies at OHSU in their dermatology department and continued my work at dermatology clinics in the area. I am now very excited to be part of the enthusiastic and encouraging NW Dermatology family! I love helping people and being able to make a difference in their lives.
My hobbies include singing and performing. As a single mom, I very much cherish the time I spend with my four beautiful children.
Meg Stuckey – Medical Scribe
I have been a scribe at NW dermatology for one fabulous year. I love learning all I can and I consider it a privilege to be able to see the wonderful work of our providers. I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2014 with a major in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Prior to scribing, I was an Americorps member working for FEMA in disaster response.
In my spare time, I enjoy travel, coffee, and shopping. I am also a frequent tango dancer. I am hoping to return to school and become a PA in the future.
